Mrs. Katerina Bakousi is an Agronomist (AUTh) who holds a diploma in Agricultural Sciences with a specialization in Crop Production (5-year degree) and an MSc in Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development. She is a research associate at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics in the department of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has experience in spatial data analysis and interpolation using GIS software and programming languages, decision-making analysis tools, and causality frameworks. On top of that, she is experienced in community management, achieving societal awareness and engagement in science, training implementation, and guideline formation gained through her contribution to citizen science projects.
