Mrs. Ifigeneia Skalidi holds a M.Sc.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (5-year degree) from the Engineering Faculty of University of Thessaly (UTH). She is a PhD candidate and contributes as a research assistant at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics in the department of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she has been an active researcher, assisting with algorithm development of projects and scientific papers, publishing two of the latter. Her main interests include computer vision, machine learning, algorithmic development, bioinformatics, and robotics.
