Mr. Alexandros Skondras is an Architect (BSc, Politecnico di Torino) specialized in Sustainability Design (MSc, Politecnico di Torino), focusing on sustainable transformations in the built environment and the ephemeral space. His research focuses on sustainable urban and regional development. He is involved in research, management and implementation of National and EU funded research & innovation projects that are dealing with territorial approach, urban vision and experimentation, sustainable cities and regions. He is also a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he uses architectural and drone photography for the visual portrayal of the built environment and for the collection, visualization, processing and presentation of spatial information as tools for strategic planning in the fields of urban planning and sustainable development.
